MANA’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce its new Chairperson and that two highly qualified candidates have been elected to MANA’s Board of Directors for a two-year term starting May 1, 2017.
MANA’s new chairperson of the board is MANA Director John Beaver of GSA who assumes Ken McGregor’s role as chairperson May 1, 2017.
MANA’s new directors are Michelle Jobst, CPMR, and Charlie Ingram.
Jobst owns manufacturers’ representative firm Jobst Incorporated. Jobst has been a MANA representative member since 1989. Ingram is vice president, sales & marketing, for Eriez Magnetics. Eriez has been a MANA manufacturer member since 1990.
Jobst is the first woman to join for MANA’s Board of Directors, and Ingram is the first manufacturer on the board. MANA’s bylaws require that at least six of its seven directors be manufacturers’ representatives, and allows one director to be elected who is not a manufacturers’ representative.
Jobst and Ingram will assume the seats of Ken McGregor and Tom Hayward, both of whom end distinguished terms of service on April 30, 2017.
Thank you Ken and Tom for your long years of service to our profession and also for your keen insights and strategic mindset.
Jobst is the second-generation owner of the rep firm her father launched in 1978. She believes that deep, long-term relationships that focus on the customers’ need and connecting with people to create innovative solutions have been her road to success. She earned the Certified Professional Manufacturers’ Representative (CPMR) designation from the Manufacturers’ Representatives Educational Research Foundation. Jobst lives in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and has two daughters.
Ingram came to Eriez in 1994 after serving as manager of international marketing at Chicago Pneumatic Tool and also as general manager of Chicago Pneumatic Tool’s Canadian affiliate. Ingram has been Eriez’s lead company representative for MANA since 1994, and has served as presenter and panelist for MANA at events like Keystone, MANAFest, teleforums, and manufacturer seminars, as well as authored articles in Agency Sales magazine. In 2013 he launched a one-year Eriez-sponsored MANA membership for all Eriez reps. He has degrees in political science and history from Denison University, Granville, Ohio, and a certificate in advanced management from the University of Tennessee. Ingram and his wife Emily live in Fairview, Pennsylvania, and have two adult children living in the Chicago area.
